Is it possible to do some visual changes on page on Rendering stage? I want to automatically replace ‘->’ with unicode ‘→’ symbol, html tag →

Thank you for information. As I understand my way is macro transformation. I think it will be too complex for me at present time to write such macro/plugin. But maybe some years later…
