Collabora Connector

Hi,

I have been trying for several days to get the Collabora connector to work with XWiki for creating or editing Office documents. So far, however, without success.

Does anyone have a working solution with XWiki, Collabora Server, and the Collabora Server Connector?

Everything runs in Docker containers on my system. The connector appears to be installed correctly. On the XWiki pages under Attachments, I can create new ODT documents or edit them using the Collabora button.
When I try to edit a document using Collabora, I get the following output:

and the following message in red at the bottom:

When I try to edit a document using Collabora, I get the following output:

When I open the URL in a new browser window, I get the following message from Tomcat:

Does anyone have any idea why this isn’t working?

I believe you are having issues with the Collabora Connector Application (Pro) developed by XWiki SAS.

You are on the community forum of the XWiki Open-Source project.
You might have a better chance of getting relevant help by reaching XWiki SAS directly (Contact us - XWiki).

Thank you very much for your reply.
The problem is that I only have a trial version of the connector, so I don’t think I’ll be able to get professional support.

Well, you should try. You could also open a github issue at GitHub - xwikisas/application-collabora: Edit attachments using Collabora

I don’t think they have a forum but try eu should reply to you if you contact them.

What’s sure is that here is not the right place.

Hi skremer!

As Manuel mentioned, when it comes to Pro Apps, it’s better to open issues directly in their respective GitHub repos.

I’ve seen the issue you opened recently, and we’re currently looking into it. I’ll ask you for more details on GitHub!

No worries, it’s totally fine. It’s a common mistake (confusing name).

The difference between the projects had to be explained to me several times before I finally understood it (at least I think I understand it now :sweat_smile: ).
