Hi everyone,
I’m Karsten, and I’m evaluating XWiki as a Confluence replacement for an organisation of about 3,000 people. One thing our users rely on in Confluence is personal spaces, so I built an extension along the lines of the Personal Pages design proposal and the “Personal Pages feature” forum discussion, and I’d like to host it in xwiki-contrib.
Name: Personal Pages (repository name suggestion: personal-pages)
Description: Every user can create their own personal pages with one click (hub page, “My pages” drawer entry, section in the user profile). Administrators choose where personal pages are created, who can read new ones (all logged-in users, only the owner, or the owner plus chosen groups) and what owners may do, and can create personal pages for all existing users in one go. Settings are kept outside the extension so upgrades never reset them, and it works in subwikis.
State: working 1.0-SNAPSHOT (XAR, parent org.xwiki.contrib:parent-platform 16.10.17, LGPL 2.1), tested on XWiki 18.7.0 including subwikis. Not published on extensions.xwiki.org yet.
Tools needed: a GitHub repository and a JIRA project (key suggestion: PERSONALPG). Later, a Nexus account for releasing.

Thanks!
