Is there a way to delete all panel & presentations settings, which are on page level? When I change the global settings, I always have to go back to a number of pages and Set the same settings again cause the page’s settings overrule the global ones.
Goodmorning and thank you But that’s not what I look for.
I changed the panel settings on page Level using Administer Page/Look & Feel/Panel Wizard.
Unfortunately, these Settings overrule all Settings set at Administer Wiki/Look & Feel/Panel Wizard.
Basically, that’s ok, but unfortunately I didn’t realize in the beginning. I want to delete the pages’ settings in order to apply the Wiki’s settings on all pages. Right now I have to change the Wiki’s settings and several pages’ settings!
We are probably missing some kind of “reset” button in page administration. Would be great if you could report this on Loading....
In the meantime if you are sure this is not some standard page the easiest is probably to delete the WebPreferences subpage in each of those pages. You don’t get a delete button when you go in those pages (that’s actually the page administration UI) but what you can do is Administer Page and then change /admin/ into /delete/ in the URL.
Enable “Display Hidden Pages” in your XWiki user preferences
Open the page Index of your wiki
Search for “WebPreferences” in Location Column
It will show you all pages that have WebPreferences(which is a hidden sub-page), with a fast way to delete them. Be aware that these WebPreferences will be created as soon as you enter den Page Administration, you don’t have to actually change anything.
This helped me quite a lot recently since we messed up permissions in some spaces…
