We want to offer our FAQ entry pages in several different languages, i.e., the questions and answers from the users of our XWiki — so this does not concern the translation of the XWiki interface itself, but instead translations of content from our users.
Other pages in our XWiki can be translated into many languages languages using the langugae translation panel on the side of or below the edit field of a page, see screenshot below. However, pages created with the FAQ Application do not show the language selection option when editing the page.
Thanks and kind regards,
Wolfgang (Vincent, in case you read this, we met and talked at one of the GSoC mentors summits about using XWiki for Catrobat — now we are there! But as you may remember, we have young users from 50 different language regions, so translations are a major necessity …)
Let me get back to you on this. Right now the FAQ app doesn’t support internationalized content but it should be easy to make it work, and I’ll propose something to you a bit later today or in the coming days.
@Catrobat would be great if you could create a jira issue at FAQ Application - XWiki.org JIRA for it and I’ll look into it. This will allow you to be notified of the progress and we can discuss details there if need be.
