Why are Free extensions as https://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/PDF%20Viewer%20Macro not avaiable here:
On Xwiki 16 - its is some incompability issues … same for Diagramming (draw.io)
Only one of the extensions in this screenshot is paying.
As indicated in your screenshot, only recommended extensions (which are extensions which are still supported by someone, whether it’s free or paying) are shown by default (to have a first filter in the quality level of extensions). If you click “All compatible extensions” you should see more.

Hello. You’re only listing “recommended” extensions in your screenshot. You need to click “All Compatible extensions” or click “More” and select the right checkboxes.

DOH… my bad… indeed unchecking “recommeded only” helped
