Is xeclipse working with 8.4.4 version?

Hello,
This extension http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/XWiki%20Eclipse still working well with xwiki 8.4.4 version?

Prerequisites & Installation Instructions…
To install XEclipse as a standalone application just unzip the downloaded ZIP file into a directory

If yes do you know where is the zip file to use (I can only watch xeclipse source and didn’t manage to build xeclipse).
Thxs.

No idea. Would be interesting to find out. All I know is that it’s been deprecated FTM (ie nobody has worked on it for years).

TBH I’m a bit sad since I believed a lot in this app and it’s a great app.

It’s successor (but not exactly the same) is http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/XWebIDE%20Application

Indeed cannot find the ZIP either, strange… I think the latest was 1.2RC1, see “xwiki-eclipse” at http://forge.ow2.org/project/showfiles.php?group_id=170

There is a big chance you have issues with nested spaces since last version of XEclipse is way older than 7.2.

agree. It doesn’t matter I want it for API xwiki method completion for velocity app (generally without nested pages).
I will test it and give you feed back. ty

If what you need is syntax completion, see http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/AutoCompletion+Application

I want to dev offline too

hum xeclipse on my stretch 64bits

/opt/XEclipse/XEclipse
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM warning: You have loaded library /opt/XEclipse/plugins/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher.gtk.linux.x86_1.0.101.R34x_v20080805/eclipse_1115.so which might have disabled stack guard. The VM will try to fix the stack guard now.
It's highly recommended that you fix the library with 'execstack -c <libfile>', or link it with '-z noexecstack'.
