LaTeX Exporter 1.10 & 1.10.1 Released

Hi everyone,

I’m happy to announce the release of the LaTeX Exporter 1.10.1 release (I released 1.10 but the noticed some bugs which I fixed in 1.10.1).

The big highlight is that it’s now possible to export to PDF directly from the UI (it’s using the LaTeX intermediary format). This means we now have 2 exporters for PDF! You can choose whichever you prefer :slight_smile:

Nope. What’s the problem with the formula macro conversion to LaTeX? (https://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/LaTeX/Syntax%201.0/#HFormula). Thanks

See https://jira.xwiki.org/browse/XWIKI-17301: several minutes to display a page with many formulas (but it finally ends well thanks to async call). I was wondering if your last release would enhance that lag issue. Thanks.

Ok so this has nothing to do with this LaTeX extension. Are you sure that you’re using the “native” renderer for formulas? My guess is that you don’t and there’s nothing we can do about it. The non-native solution is just slower. Also the issue suggests to try using https://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/MathJaxMacro/. Have you done that?

PS: Please let’s continue the discussion on that issue instead and not here since this thread is about a completely different topic.
