Hello, what PDF export extension are you referring to?
Also you seem to refer to some external provider hosting your instance (“xwiki cloud account”). I’d suggest contacting them.
Thanks
Thanks!
It’s the “PDF Export Application” version 16.10.8 from the XWiki Development Team.
The problem seems to be that the pdf is generated on the client-side using the print function provided by the user’s own web browser. I still haven’t found how to call a headless chromium generation.
I have contacted XWiki SAS.
Regards and thanks for support.
That’s a configuration option. If you’re on a cloud you definitely need to call your cloud provider.
To be clear: Please note that xwiki.org is an open source community while XWiki SAS is a business company sponsoring the development of the XWiki open source software, as other individuals or companies may do too.
See https://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Main/Support for more details, and https://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/FAQ/What%20is%20the%20relationship%20between%20XWiki%20SAS%20and%20the%20XWiki%20open%20source%20project
Thx
The generated PDF includes the links for sure. The only known issue is, as noted on https://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/PDF%20Export%20Application/#HInternalLinks , that Firefox is generating external links instead of internal (anchor) links. If that is your problem then you need to either use a different browser, e.g. Chrome, to generate the PDF, or ask your hosting provider to set up a headless Chrome server-side.
Thanks,
Marius
Thanks a lot.
Regards
Alain
