Hello there
There are a few templates that use Classes to store additional, structured information.
The goal was to export/import those templates from our main wiki to a sub-wiki. Due to a “bug” in xWiki
https://jira.xwiki.org/browse/XWIKI-18065
I intended to move the location of the template to another place without “~” at the beginning. Since there were no pages using this (except the template itself), this should not be a big deal.
So I renamed the root node but there was a warning about the Classes, which is good, since one might not be aware. So I checked the root node of the Pages with Classes to rename in the warning section of the rename screen.
Although it was check, they were NOT moved. This attempt was with xWiki 13.9 …
I expect this to be a bug. If so, I’ll open a Jira …
It looks like similar happened already with one of the templates before, which I renamed in xWiki 12.5.1 from “Section” to “Structural”. The URL still shows “/section/” where the page name and title is “Structural”. Maybe I agreed to that while renaming, don’t remember …
If anyone has some insight on the issue of the renaming of a Page with Classes with 13.9, it would be great before I open a Jira. Thank you!
