Video Macro says the video does not match any of the video websites supported

Hi Video macro must have a static list or something for this.

“The Video URL you entered (http://localhost:8000/wikishare/Test%20Share.mp4) does not match any of the video websites supported by this macro.”

Does anyone know how to shut off the allow list or whatever is going on for Video Macro? I just want to serve mp4s internally to the wiki.

It’s specified that if you use a URL:

It has to be the address of a Google video, a YouTube video (including shorten URLs), a Vimeo video or a Dailymotion or Dailymotion Cloud video taken from its original page.

But then you can also just specify a file attached to the page where the macro is used.

Ok thank you. Since we’re not able to add videos from file system links, is there a way to link a video hosted on a web address?
