Looks like you configured hibernate to use a MariaDB connector but forgot to make its JAR available (generally by putting it in WEB-INF/lib).
We probably need to start a https://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Documentation/AdminGuide/Installation/InstallationWAR/InstallationMariaDB/ to be more explicit about this newly supported database.
