16.10.4 on Firefox some icons have cyanish portions

Firefox 136.

I noticed this in the page actions menu:

immagine

(zoomed in MS Paint)

This is most visible (to me) on the Delete action icon, but the Copy one has some too.

Doesn’t happen on Chrome.

I’m pretty sure it wasn’t there in 15.10.x or I would have noticed it.
I’ve already cleared the browser cache.

Hello @watery,

I’m assuming you are referring to the tiny greenish cross between “move / rename” and “delete”?
I tried on my computer and could not reproduce.
Did you try on a private window with no browser extension?

Ahah, didn’t see that!

Nope, I’m referring to colors of the icon:

If I instead zoom the page to 200%, the colors look normal:

immagine

Done, it’s the same.

Thanks

If you know how to, with the browser debugger, you can also check the CSS properties applied on

  1. the span with classes fa fa-trash
  2. the ::before element inside the span

And look for any property with the unexpected color.

Another check, did you try with another device?

I think that this could be due to subpixel rendering. As the icons use an icon font, whatever font hinting your system/browser has enabled will also affect the icons.
