**Hello,**‌ I’d like to inquire about the progress and plans for RAG and chat features in XWiki.

I urgently need a wiki system with RAG and chat capabilities, but it seems XWiki is progressing slowly in this area. The LLM plugin is still in beta and hasn’t been updated for a long time.

Therefore, I’d like to ask:

  1. Will there be significant updates to RAG functionality in the community edition soon?

  2. If XWiki doesn’t plan to continue development in this direction, are there good ways to sync my documents to RAGFlow or Dify for knowledge base integration?

  3. What does the official recommend for combining XWiki with a RAG solution?

Hi,

What features are you looking for? Did you test the extension? What would you like to have more?

The general answer is that this extension was coded by several contributors (and not by the XWiki core dev team) so we would need to ask them. However, I know that XWiki SAS (the main sponsoring company of the XWiki open source project, see https://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Main/Supporters/SponsoringCompanies/) is keen to continue developing AI features. But I can’t answer about any planning from their side.
