Administration question: data in xwiki/data/jobs/status - how do we manage it?

I’ve got some status.xml files that are over 1GB in size. Do I even need this any more? Is there a “proper” way to clean these files out, or can I just delete them from the file system?

Most of those files are just logs. There is not specific UI to manage them and you can simply delete them directly. Better keep the “distribution” related ones but those are usually small.
