Are there managed release/edit versions for wiki-pages like in a DMS?

Hi everyone,

Are there any ways to configure xwiki pages to work like a DMS? For example, we want an option for some/all wiki pages to have a release version that everyone can view, and an edit version that only editors can view/edit.

When several changes are made to the page, an edit user has to release it so that everyone can see it.

My guess is that this could only be done manually, with redundant copies of each page, specific permissions and manual handling. But could this be managed by the wiki itself like blog-entries but with two instances of the page?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Kind regards
Dannxy

Hello, this is a bit anti-wiki but there’s the Publication Workflow extension that maybe does what you need: https://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/XWiki%20Publication%20Workflow%20Application

Hope it helps

Hi,
thanks for the fast reply. This seems to do it… I’ll give it a try!
