Asking for security permissions

I work for a public service broadcasting company in germany. We have a xwiki for internal knowledge transfer. This wiki is accessible to our employees via the internet.

Because our hosting provider is constantly overloaded with work, I have to sort out which updates are really important and which are not.

I therefore request access to the security topics.
Regards, Simpel

Hi @Simpel,

Yes, no problem.

You now have access to:

I guess you noticed https://dev.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Community/SecurityPolicy/#HAddinganewsecuritymember and the list of others security channels, could you let me know (unless you don’t want to have access to those, of course) privately:

  • the email you want to use for the security mailing list
  • your matrix user name to access the security chat

@Simpel One more thing, you’ll need to consent to the following:

Do you consent that you won’t publicly disclose the non-public security information that you’ll have access to, before the XWiki committers make it public, and more generally that you agree to follow the rules defined in the security policy at https://dev.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Community/SecurityPolicy/ ?

Thx!

I agree not to disclose any non-public security information to which I have access before it is released by the XWiki committers, and I will comply with the rules set out in the security policy at https://dev.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Community/SecurityPolicy.

Simpel
