Author of automatic redirects is XWiki.Guest

Hi.

When I rename/move a page and check the box for automatic redirect it’s author is always XWiki.Guest. Why is this? I would expect the name of the user who renamed/moved the page.

Hi! I’ve tested on XWiki 17.4.4 and 17.8.0 RC1 with Admin and regular users (tried also some different scenarios), but I couldn’t reproduce it on my side.

Maybe there are other factors that contribute to the result.

If I watch XWiki/RedirectClass then all authors are XWikiGuest:

This is XWiki 17.4.4.

I’m not sure with steps, but surprisingly in my XWiki 17.8-RC I ended with exact result as you @Simpel. Maybe you can report it if it’s not yet known (doesn’t exist) since you know exact steps.

Hello, was away from forum for some time. That’s totally okay with me. I updated the description with steps. Unfortunately, I haven’t checked in details, but it might be some regression.
