Auto anchors to paragraphs

I’m brand new to the forum, so apologies if I’m committing any novice errors here.

This may already be possible in XWiki. Is there a way to have each paragraph in a page automatically assigned an anchor (perhaps based on a digest of the first sentence), and be able to then copy that link so I can add it to another wiki page? This would allow me to link ideas in any of my new articles to specific thoughts-quotes-conclusions on a page that includes my notes of other articles. Thank you for your help.

Hi, it’s not possible out of the box. However you can use the Id macro at the beginning of a paragraph to create an anchor.

If you really need this feature it’s also possible to implement it using a rendering transformation. This requires java coding. You could search on google for « xwiki wiliword transformation » or « xwiki tranformation » for more details on that.

Thanks
