Bundled syntaxes: can we write pages with Conlfuence syntax?

Hi,
I’m evaluating XWiki as a Confluence alternative, we already have Jira and we would like to use its syntax in our wiki pages (at least initially, to make adoption easier), is that possible?

According to this page

Confluence syntax is supported in the installation bundle, but I cannot find how to enable it on a new page.

I can choose “Confluence 1.1” syntax if I install this extension https://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Confluence/Syntax%2011/, but has some limitations so I’m looking for an alternative.

Thanks

There is no alternative to this one. There has not been much work on this syntax since Confluence got rid of it for stored content and the focus switched to https://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Confluence/Syntax%20XHTML/ support.

Thank you Thomas for your prompt reply!
I agree it makes sense for you company to focus your effort on the latest syntax
