XWiki newbie here, with quite a bit of experience in Atlassian Confluence. I have my XWiki instance up and running (via Docker and PostgreSQL) with no problems, and am trying to better understand how/if to deploy applications. I initially installed the “demo” flavor, and it adds a bunch of Applications to the panel displayed on the home page.
My confusion is how to logically approach these applications. In my mind, it makes sense that I might want to, for example, add a FAQ application to a specific page in the wiki. But the Application panel seems like the FAQ is wiki-wide. Similarly, it makes sense to me to add a diagram to a page. So why is the Diagrams application wiki-wide?
Can applications be just added to individual pages, or somehow scoped to a sub-tree?
