Cannot install default flavor on Redhat Enterprise 8 with jws5

Hello community,

i currently trying to setup xwiki behind a proxy but it fails during the installation of the default flavor.

Wiki Version 13.10.10
OS, Rhel 8 with jws5-tomcat-9.0.50-5.redhat_00007.1.el8jws.noarch
Installation with .war file
Error: Failed to retrieve extension data.Server not responding
System is behind a Proxy, the OS can reach the proxy without issues

I dont see any hints in the systemd / catalina logs so far, i switched to debug level

Help would be appreciated

Maybe check Installation (XWiki.org) ?

thanks for the reply.
I did that, it works on Rhel7 but not on Rhel8.

one more fact:
i cannot install any extension
