I’m using XWiki 9.5.1 and noticed that I can’t select a template, other than the space default, when creating a page from a wanted link. I can get around the issue by opening the create link in a new tab.
I’ve been poking around in “createinline.vm” and I think it must be something to do with how the popup is rendered.
I’ve searched for this as a bug but can’t find anything. Has anyone experienced this before?
Happy with a workaround if anyone can suggest one.
Hello,
If I understand what your issue is…
If you create a new page from an URL, location picker is hidden to avoid wrong location where is created the new page: https://jira.xwiki.org/browse/XWIKI-14214
No, location picker is hidden which is fine. It’s the template select popup which will display available templates, but won’t let me select anything (highlighted grey background won’t change). Therefore I can only create a page based on the default template.
I swear it used to work so it must be something I’ve done. I created a bunch of new templates a few weeks ago. I can only think I must have done something to one of them and that’s causing the issue.
