I have created a new page based on the default “blank page” template but would like to change it in “Encyclopedia” without having to create a new page.
I checked in the forum and Xwiki documentation but editing the page type does not seem to be possible.
Is there any way to still do this without having to redo all pages where I want to change the type?
What you choose when you create a new page is not exactly a page type (this concept does not really exist) but an example page to copy. What makes a pages looks different than others is the objects it contains.

So I presume it will be a matter of adding the objects (like the image/table which is par tof encyclyopedia) manually into the pages created based on “blank page”
Yes it’s a matter of removing/adding the right XWiki objects. If you are advanced user (in your profile) you can access the object editor my clicking the arrow next to edit.
