Hi Everyone,
I am currently in the process of creating a demo page, and the criteria is to keep the page looking as closely to the html file provided.
I was wondering whether there was a way to convert an already created html file, and convert it to a Xwiki page. I have tried looking through the documentation, and I am unable to find this “insert HMTL menu” button in the FAQ. The link is http://www.m.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/FAQ/How+to+convert+HTML+pages+into+wiki+pages
Hi Stephen.
I’ve modified a bit https://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/FAQ/How%20to%20convert%20HTML%20pages%20into%20wiki%20pages
Could you check it out again and tell us if it’s more clear now?
Thanks
Hi,
When you mean WYSIWYG, you mean the highlighted editor right?
“An alternative to all this is to create a new page, edit it in the WYSIWYG editor and use copy paste the HTML in the content, and then save.” following this step, I copied and pasted my html file contents into the editor, however all it displayed was the syntax rather then the elements. Was I supposed to do something else? Maybe there was an extension I didn’t install yet that is needed to convert it?
Thanks
