Create a integrable solution Two-factor authentication (2FA) for XWiki

Hello. I am a student of the Belarusian State University. I study at the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Informatics. I was very interested in the “Two-factor authentication (2FA) for XWiki” project. I have good abilities in mathematics and information security (a security officer by profession). I am fond of developing crypto-protocols. I would like to contribute to this project. I have good experience in JAVA and C++ development. I have already read the description and read the links. At this time, I am analyzing the problem in great detail according to your sources. Is it possible to discuss our interaction with someone?)
If necessary, I can send a resume

Welcome @BenJoice !

As far as I know the process is well documented on GSOC side (but I don’t see what candidates see, so I cannot really point you to it): it’s not a direct “hire”, you should get familiar with XWiki and how it works (and especially how custom authenticators works) and you will then have to write a proposal with a bit about yourself and more importantly what you plan to do. This will be the basis we use to evaluate if we are interested or not. Please take a look at https://dev.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/GoogleSummerOfCode/Guidelines (and especially https://dev.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/GoogleSummerOfCode/Guidelines#HIncreasingyourchancesofbeingaccepted).

So you should play a bit with XWiki, look at other authenticators and ask specific questions (so not “what do I do now ?”) here on the forum or on the general Matrix chat.
