Cryptpad integration

Hello Xwiki Team,
you are also the developers of Cryptpad.
When is an integration into XWiki to be expected here ?
We would like to switch to it in our company.

Hi, I think you mean cryptpad :slight_smile:

This forum is for the XWiki open source project and the devs here only work on XWiki. I think you’re referring to the XWiki SAS company which sponsors the development of both XWiki and Cryptpad.

There have been discussions about it but nothing in action yet. What kind of integration would you be interested in?

Note: One important difference is that Cryptpad is zero-knowledge while XWiki isn’t.

I had thought of a similar / same integration as Onlyoffice.

So the idea would be to use only the editor part of Cryptpad? Since Cryptpad also uses OO (for rich text), what would it bring over use the OO integration?

The basic expectation is that there will be a deeper and thus better integration than with Onlyoffice.

Apart from that, we appreciate many little things in Cryptpad in comparison to Onlyoffice, which is a full-fledged Office, which we do not want and do not need.

For us, Cryptpad takes exactly the right middle course between minimalism in the editor and file formats. As well as extending applications such as Code and Kanban.

In the future, I could also very well imagine that Cryptpad will be available as an editor for articles in Xwiki.
