Following this question, I’d like to know what you think should be the default image style when pasting an image, or pasting clipboard content containing images.
When Force Default Style I think it’s obvious that all images must take the default style, as the goal is to prevent editor to pick something else.
When this is not the case, I’d like to have your opinion.
On the one hand, applying the default style seems like a good option, as this is the default and it makes the whole content styled uniformly.
On the other hand, with some default style, it could make the pasted result very different from the source it was copied from (for instance when copying a table with images on the cells, for instance, Érd HC in European handball - Wikipedia)
So here I see three options when Force Default Style is false.
- always apply the default style
- never apply the default style
- allow admins to have a different default style for pasted images
