No, it’s currently not possible. There’s a jira issue for it and you could vote/comment on it. Right now what you can do is create your own static tree or code a filter for the documentree macro (see doc for documenttree macro).
Or you can create a top level page, put all your content under it (in nested pages) and modify the navigation panel to use this top level page as root (or create a new navigation panel with the modifications).
