Does XWiki have an internal processes each hour?

Hi,

we roll out a XWiki v10.10 using Amazon t2.xlarge for the program and the db.t2.large for the DB, and every hour the system rich high levels of using the CPU without using the wiki platform. The platform has 100 wikis. This causes an increase of the response time and affect who are using the wiki platform.

So, the question is: are there any internal process every hour?

There is a hourly scheduler which take care of sending notifications to users who enabled this option.

You can control schedulers from Scheduler page (http://myhost/xwiki/bin/view/Scheduler/).
