Extension Installation

I installed the standalone version on windows and also deployed WAR on ubuntu 16.04. After login I see both UI looks different. Standalone version is much richer and have lots of pre-installed extensions.

I want to do a custom install but want to start from where standalone version is. I guess I have to install all those extensions manually. I did try but got errors almost for every extension I tried to install.

Is there a way where I select multiple extensions and click Install and it automatically download all extension and installs them ? My linux installation is able to connect to internet.

No you don’t need to do anything manually. The first time you start xwiki you’ll get a Distribution Wizard which will install the extensions for you.

See http://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Documentation/AdminGuide/Installation/InstallationWAR/#HInstalltheXWikiUI (it was broken and I’ve just fixed it).

Looks like you did not fully installed XWiki, the first time you access XWiki you get a wizard asking you which flavor you want to (download and) install. If you install the Standard Flavor then you will have exactly the same thing that what you can see in the standalone package.
