Hi,
is it possible to store files or attachments in an other place than disk or database? For example in nextcloud, or over rest api in an archive?
Thank you
Oliver

Hi, not sure what you mean by files.
For attachments, yes you can implement your own Attachment Store and configure XWiki to use it. Some users are storing attachments in Amazon S3 for example.
I think we’re missing documentation for this but basically you need to:
xwiki.store.attachment.hint = hibernate
in xwiki.cfg
to tell XWiki to use your componentThanks
Hi,
yes, I meant attachments.
Thank you for the link and your advice, it is very useful for me.
Maybe there is already a S3 implementation?
Thank you
Oliver
