Hello,
I use an XWiki 9.6 instane on Linux, I have just migrated attachments from a MySQL DB to a filesystem storage using the File System Attachment Porter extension as it seems to be a good practice for large files storage. It worked fine after I realised I needed to activate recycle bin and versionning for attachments in the xwiki.cfg config file. It was not obvious at first read for me (I originally disabled them to save some DB space).
My question is the following : now that my attachment files are stored on a filesystem, can I disable those two options if I notice that the FS size is growing to quickly? Or is it recommanded to let those two options activated?
I would also like to thank the dev responsible for this script as it worked perfectly once I met the prerequisites.
