I’ve found that the page footnotes are placed into is already being discussed in In exported PDFs, footnotes should be displayed at the end of the page, not all at the end of the document.
However, it would be better IMHO that:
- footnotes start from the bottom of the page, instead of starting after the page content (they behave like this in 14.10.18)
- some kind of separation is added before them, like a horizontal ruler or similar
Worth a couple of Jira issues?
