Formula Macro Colour and Some Rendering Enquiries

Hi,

For the formula macro, is it possible to change the colour of the image rendering? This is because I’m using a dark background for the wiki and therefore the default classic black colour would not work.
*I’ve just learnt about MathJax and that addresses with the colour issue as it adapts to use the color css of the global font color.

Furthermore, the default renderer uses snuggletex however it doesn’t seem to support SVG.

So when I tried to change the renderer to native rendering through xwiki.properties. It doesn’t seem to work as it still uses snuggletex.

Hi,

I try to understand what you’re trying to achieve. You can change the color of equations or any math symbol via the LaTeX command. And why you’re trying to shift program property files for this.

It should work. Have you restarted XWiki? Can you show us your xwiki.properties changes?

PS: We currently recommend the MathJax macro

BTW, why do you care about the generated image format? Why not keep the default PNG?

Fair but wouldn’t that affect export. Just a curiosity thing.

I’m playing around with the macro and saw that it didn’t support svg when it’s in the option, so I’m just trying to see if the macro still worked if I changed the renderer. Yep, I’ll have the wiki use MathJax macro over the Formula macro.
