I would like to know about addthis and how it works in the forums application. In our company, we have blockers for any malicious sites and the s7.addthis.com is included to the blocker. I searched for a reason and this may be one of them. What is your take on this? My forums application doesn’t work properly because of this.
The social media links are by default disabled since version v2.3.10 of the Forum Application. They can be enabled if needed by following https://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/ForumApplication#HSocialmedialinks.
Also, AddThis is apparently abandoned since May 2023 (source, in french, Actualité du E-Commerce, Fin du service AddThis : Quelles alternatives ?).
