Help scrolling big diagrams

Good morning,

I have just started with xwiki and with the Diagram Application which I find to be simply wonderful.

I have an small issue, though, in managing big diagrams. I have noticed that the application does rescale the diagrams to fit into the page and this is very nice until the text does not become unreadable, as the diagram is too extended. I was wondering whether there is an option or any other solution to keep diagrams in their original size and to navigate them within the page via scroll bars (similarly to what is available in the application editor).

Thanks in advance for your kind attention
Riccardo

I believe there’s a “zoom” drop down on the tool bar with various options. See the “100%” icon on http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/download/Extension/Diagram%20Application/editDiagram.png . Doesn’t that do what you want?

Hope this helps,
Marius

Hi Marius,

thank you very much for your reply. Though, I believe you are referring to the editor, while my issue regards the diagram when it is published. Sorry if I have not been clear enough in my post.

Kind regards
Riccardo

I see, I’d have to check if there are some parameters that we could pass to the diagram viewer but I don’t have time right now. I’m putting this on my TODO list.

Understood and thank you very much Marius, especially for this wonderful application!!

Hi to all!

Let me up this topic.

First of all thanks to the author for the work done - the integrated draw.io editor is an important feature for me.
But i also encountered the need to scale/zoom large charts. Does the author have any plans for improvement (for example: image )?

Thanks again.
