Hello everyone !
I’m Sébastien Caunois, a french developer wanting to begin something in the open source world ! :smiley:
I have been working for about 5 years in Java / Java EE environments.
I came here for one good reason : I wanted to discover how it was in an open source project community, and I would like to offer my help if needed :wink:
And we are using XWiki at my company (I had a former experience with Confluence ^^) so I would find it useful and fullfilling to explore the project source code and eventually to contribute to it.

So… I’m very happy to be here, and also excited to do… well I don’t even know yet what I could be able to do for this community/project, but I’m still excited :wink:

PS : if I made some mistakes, please be tolerant because English is not my native language.

Even better :slight_smile: It’s cool that you have past experience with Confluence too. Your feedback about the parts that XWiki should improve to be better than Confluence would be very interesting information to us (and the parts where we are already better too) :wink:

One thing you could help with is to verify if what we’ve put at https://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Compare/XWiki-vs-Confluence/ is correct and whether there are other details we could add.
