You mean the panel? You can remove it from the page administration, see http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Panels%20Application#HConfiguration .

yes the right panel.
I don’t use the right panel on the wiki, it’s appears only on the file manager page. It takes a lot of places for not much. I don’t think you can remove it, it must be some “limitation” of the free version of the extension.
