hi community,
is it possible to hide technical pages like menubars annotationcode in breadcrumb and page navigator?
see marked pages in screenshots:

i think it’s not a good user experience showing these pages in trees.
thank you.
kind regards,
chris

Hello @vcwiki ,
Those are hidden pages. You probably see them because your user display hidden pages.
To hide those pages, go to the preferences of your user profile and edit Display hidden pages
to No
.
You can also press the sequence of characters xxxh
in any page to toggle this configuration.
Hope that helps.

Yes, that helps. Thank you.
Is it also possible to hide or lock preferences in user profile? so that user cannot enable hidden pages?

Not easily afaik. You can always edit XWiki.XWikiUserPreferencesSheet
but this is not advised without a good technical understanding of XWiki.

That’s not the role of hidden pages. If you want a user to not see a page you need to set permissions on it.
Hope it helps
