Hiding user profile list from all

Hi there,

I need the solution for the issue of hiding the User List and User Profile’s from regular users
Reading I found those solutions:

  1. Editing the Access Rights of a User’s Profile directly using the advanced edit options
  2. Moving User Profile’s under a parent page and administering that page’s rights to make user profiles hidden

But sorry i don’t know how to setup advanced edit options on point 1 and eventually point 2

Please need help as we have a public page (viewable without registration) and lots of private company pages with different groups and honestly don’t want that my users are viewable to all but just to Admin.
