Due to numerous security disclosures around Linux distributions, we need to update and reboot all the systems powering xwiki.org. Including but not limited to:
- this forum,
- xwiki.org
- jira.xwiki.org
- maven.xwiki.org
- weblate.xwiki.org
- …
I expect the trend of frequent patching cadence to continue for 2026/2027 at least.
These systems will be patched over the course of the next two days (May 21-22). Announcements will be made on the https://matrix.to/#/#xwiki:matrix.xwiki.com chat before each operation.
The downtime should be minimal, a few minutes per services.
I hope the inconvenience is acceptable. Don’t hesitate to voice your concerns below.
