One of our administrators has created a page (folder in the tree structure) with the wrong page type. Is it possible to change the page type to “Space dashboard”?

If you’re referring to the page template used, then you should know that when you create a page from a template, the new page is created and the template copied as the new content. You can ofc delete the page to recreate it with another template or modify its content.
