How to link pages of sub-wiki's to main user groups

Hi everyone,

I’ve been trying to make some changes in the security of pages of my sub-wiki. But I’m having troubles with linking towards the user groups of the main wiki.

Is there a possibility to have the page use the groups of the main wiki or do I need to copy all groups to that sub wiki to be able to do this?

Hi @ANM,

The main wiki groups can be used by subwikis from the access rights screen, by selecting either the “global” scope or both “global and local” scopes, you can see the scope on the following documentation page: https://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Documentation/AdminGuide/Access%20Rights/ – but you may have tried that already, and you may actually refer to something different?
