How to place images with caption side by side

Hi.

Using XWiki 15.10.11 we try to place some pictures side by side. This is working with drag&drop after inserting the images. But that moment I set the checkbox “caption” this picture is immediately placed on a new line. And I don’t have no idea how to avoid this.

Is there a chance (best with wysiwyg editor) to have pictures next to each other and having captions too?

I had another wierd problem with captions. But the two workarounds from there will unfortunately not help you. If you use them twice for two images, the images will be nicely placed, but at the same time the captions will be completely removed:

  1. non-functional workaround:
