Hey team! I’m looking for an xwiki extension which manages to email the user when they’re mentioned in a comment or a post, since I’m very new to the platform I went through the market place and I see the Mail Sender API exists, but I believe the mail sending is not triggered when a user is mentioned in either a comment or a wiki. Any directions are appreciated! Thanks!

If I understand you needs correctly, I think the Notifications Application, available by default on any XWiki instance should fit your needs.
If not, please let us know which use case can’t be achieved with this app.
