Is there an advanced image tool available for the editor?

While I am able to attach an image to a document, there are some advanced features missing.

  1. Being able to render an image with effects such as drop shadow, curl shadow or snapshot.

  2. The ability to click on an image and have it come up as a full-size preview.

The existing options are great and give me more control over an image than other wiki applications.

The question is; Is there an extension available for xWiki that can provide additional control for presentation and viewing of images? If so, where do I find it and how is it installed?

Jack

I’m not aware of such an extension but you should double check by searching on https://extensions.xwiki.org (or from the Extension Manager administration section on your XWiki instance). If you know free (open source) web-based tools (JavaScript-based) that can edit images the way you want then it shouldn’t be that hard to integrate them in XWiki. You can propose such an integration idea on Loading...

You can use the gallery macro for this or one of the available “lightbox” macros.
