We are running XWiki 14.10 with MySQL 8.0.34 on RHEL 8.6 OS and using Edge browser version 118, we are having issue accessing file link using “unc:\myserver\path\filename”, the file will not open and the Edge browser is showing “about:blank#blocked” when"Open link in a new tab".
Background info: we were using edge browser version 116, we had the same issue accessing file link via unc:\myserver\path\filename from XWiki page: the Edge browser showing “about:blank#blocked” when selecting “Open link in a new tab”, this was fixed after applying EnableLocalFileLinks-0.8.0-Crx4Chrome.com.crx browser plugin. Recently we updated the Edge browser to version 118, the problem of “about:blank#blocked” appeared again. We tried to apply “open local link” new plugin, however the problem still exists.
Has anyone experience the same and know how to fix the issue? Please help and share, thank you in advance!
