Job log field in Filter Streams Converter

Hello, can anyone answer why in the xwiki 15.10.7 in the Filter Streams Converter application there is no “Job log” field? :scream:
Before that, I used to use 15.10.5 and there was this field, it was very convenient to view it online.
Is it possible to enable job log?

I found this fix in Release Notes for XWiki 15.10.7, but for some reason it doesn’t work.
https://jira.xwiki.org/browse/XWIKI-21965

The problem is my carelessness, I forgot to install the Job macro, which is responsible for this field.

The Filter Stream Converter application does not use the job macro.

Hi,

the same issue occurs on my installation using Xwiki 15.10.9. using Docker. The job log field of the filter streams application is not visible anymore though the log files are to the directory /usr/local/xwiki/data/jobs/status/filter/converter within the docker container. Installing the Job marco did not help (as expected if the macro is not used  ) .

I’d be happy for any suggestions how to solve the issue.

Could you make sure that your user type is advanced (see the user profile documentation how to change it)? The standard job status display doesn’t display a log for non-advanced users.

Bingo! Thank you for your fast reply, Michael - changing the user type to ‘advanced’ solved the problem for me! :slightly_smiling_face:
