I’m not convinced by this. The user that inserts the macro is most often not an administrator of the wiki so they can’t take actions that affect the entire wiki (e.g. modify the color theme). The simplest to me is to have a suggest input / dropdown with some known values to chose from (the macro developer needs to provide this list), for simple users, but that also lets you type new values, for advanced users.
